As colleagues in the community mental health field for the last several years, we’ve had the pleasure of being able to grow together, attend professional training together, as well as ethically collaborate on cases. Over time, it became clear that we all share similar values as clinicians in terms of connecting with clients, educating ourselves on best practices, and delivering high-quality therapy services. Thus, RISE Mental Health Collective was formed.

Who We Are

RESILIENCE

The ability to rise above, adapt and recover from difficult or challenging life experiences. Your ability to be resilient has gotten you through all the ups and downs in your life thus far. When starting therapy, you’re bringing your resiliency and individual strengths to the table. Your therapist will help you recognize all the ways you have demonstrated resiliency throughout your life and support you in continuing to foster your ability to be resilient while navigating life stressors and challenges.

INSIGHT

Awareness of underlying causes of emotional, cognitive, and behavioral responses in oneself. For change to occur, we must look inward and reflect on the experiences and relationships that have shaped us. Your therapist will help guide you in developing new insights and understanding about your life and what makes you, you. 

SUPPORT

A response of acceptance, encouragement, and assurance from one person to another. Starting therapy can feel scary. Your therapist will support you through every step of the therapeutic process as you work to unpack, explore, and overcome personal challenges.

EMPOWERMENT

Embodying the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to make changes and take control of your life. In therapy, you will gain the tools necessary to feel confident in yourself and your ability to manage life stressors and symptoms related to your presenting concerns. Your therapist will help empower you to embrace and love yourself!
