Jahnay Ford
Pre-licensed Marriage and family therapist
I believe healing begins when we feel safe enough to be fully seen.

I support individuals (14+) and couples who want deeper connection — with themselves, their partners, or both. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them and are looking for a space where they can be honest, curious, and open to growth. My ideal clients are those who are ready to explore the parts of themselves they’ve outgrown and step into new, more authentic ways of being.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply attuned. I aim to create a space where you can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what you truly want and need in your relationships and your inner world.

I specialize in intimacy and communication, attachment, identity exploration, and the emotional blocks — like shame, guilt, and insecurity — that can get in the way of closeness, pleasure, and connection. My goal is to help you understand yourself more clearly, navigate relational patterns with greater awareness, and show up with more intention and self-trust.
Whether you’re exploring who you are, healing old wounds, or wanting to feel more connected to yourself and others, I offer a supportive space where those deeper layers can be seen and understood.

I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from La Salle University and am currently pursuing licensure in Pennsylvania. My approach is integrative and compassionate, blending different therapeutic perspectives to meet you where you are.
I have experience supporting clients through sexuality and gender identity exploration, trauma, relational patterns, intimacy challenges, and the complex emotional experiences that come with being human. I tailor my work to your unique story, helping you understand the deeper patterns beneath your current struggles and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

Outside of session, I’m usually listening to music, dancing around my apartment, or diving into something creative. I love painting, interior design, and finding new ways to make my space — and my life — feel intentional and beautiful. I’m a big foodie, and I treasure slow, grounding moments with my favorite people.
